Seek Him… Walk in all His ways… and hold fast to Him…

Are You Losing Your Saltiness? You’re The Light Of The World…

What if you won the lottery?

Would you be excited?

Most of us would run and tell every person we knew. We’d tell our family and friends… We’d tell that person at the gas station… We’d tell the people we ran into at the store.

We’d get an interview with a news station, and we’d get a following on social media. Everyone would be wondering what we were up to.

They’d be wondering what we’d do with such an amazing prize…The problem is, the lottery only provides money – and money comes and goes…. it doesn’t last forever.

BUT…

We have been given a gift that is far greater. We have been given a gift that is eternal. Not only that… but it’s something we can give away without reserve and never have a lack.

We can share as much as we want, but we will never run out…In fact, we’ll only receive more…

So, my question is: Do we have the same kind of passion for our God?

If we have the greatest gift ever given in all eternity… Why wouldn’t we?

It’s time for a change in the heart of God’s people. It’s time for a shift that sweeps across our nation and our world…An unquenchable flame that reignites our hunger and thirst for He who is coming… and a need to share the greatest gift of all with those who need it.

Jesus said,

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.

We’ve already won the spiritual lottery… and it’s time to get out there and share it… it’s time to ignite that fire again.

Jesus said,

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Matthew 5:13.

Let us be the body of Christ as one, together. Let us show His unconditional love to others in the boldness of a meek heart – both genuine and lavish with true empathy.

I know…

It can seem scary to get out there and obey God… but Jesus wasn’t speaking for no reason…God doesn’t do that… He speaks with purpose… just like He spoke you into existence…

Whatever purpose He has for you… whatever challenge or battle you may face… or any fear that might stand in your way…He will give you the courage, strength, and power to face it… so long as you rely on Him with all your heart.

Isaiah 8:13-14a, says,

“It is the Lord of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear,And He shall be your dread. Then He shall become a sanctuary;”…and so He will.

Can you feel that? Like a shadow across your skin, as every tiny hair rises up its head skyward, alerted by some unseen force…The great black shade of winged armies, like a cloud, as they gently brush across the ridges of mountains, and glide silently over the valleys.

Every eye upon earth turns to the sky as the blinding light of the Lord’s armies come to aid the saints…The Lord will have His day…..and as the trumpet of His voice shakes the foundations of the earth you become His instruments.

You and I serve a mighty God, and who can limit His power? No one can. No enemy will stand, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Pray with me:

“Lord, I ask for a revival of the saints. I ask that you would light aflame Your people. I pray that you would pour out Your Spirit upon our nations and remind each person of Your grace, Your power…Remind us that You are the One True Living God!

…and I ask Lord… that You would start that flame within my own heart… the heart that You formed… and bring me into the purpose You designed me for…Give me courage, strength, faith, and an unstoppable passion for Your purpose in my life.. driven by a deep reliance on You and Your word…

Give me wisdom that I might come to know you more… Give me understanding that I might hear Your voice… Give me strength and courage to obey… and keep me reliant on You so that I never forget Your greatness…IN JESUS NAME!!”
